White Canyon
Natural Bridges National Monument is of course best known
for its natural bridges. However, those willing to venture beyond
the paved streets and sidewalks can also see some great
archaeological sites, especially in White Canyon. These include
the Horse Collar Ruin, a cliff dwelling occupied by the Ancestral
Pueblo people between A.D. 1050 and 1300. This chapter
is for the second edition of my book only.
